Cavi Sculpt Pre-Treatment Instructions

The do's and dont's prior to your cavitation treatment

Drink LOTS of water and stay well hydrated the day before and day of your treatment.

This ensures you will get the BEST results and minimize any minor side effects after treatment.

Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol at least 24 hours before your treatment.

These substances impair circulation and fat mobilization by your liver and lymphatic system which is how your body removes the liquified fat cells after treatment!

Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing to your appointment.

If you are having your buttocks treated please wear a thong.

What to Expect

the day of your appointment

We will review your pre-treatment screening questionaire and answer all of your questions. We can make recommendations at this time on the number of treatments needed and answer all your questions.

You may not be a candidate for cavitation if you have chronic health condition, are taking blood thinners.

*Those with any implanted device like a pacemaker, pregnant or breast eeding mothers are not candidates for this treatment.

We may take some initial measurements of the waist if appropriate and take some "before" pictures so that we can document your progress.

Treatments last anywhere from 30-90 minutes depending on the area being treated. 90 minutes is the maximum amount of time you can be treated in one session.

During the treatment you feel a wrm sensation and hear a slight ringing in your ears from the low frequency of the machine being used. At times there can be a prickling sensation on the skin- your sculpting specialist will adjust settings to ensure you are comfortable.

Possible minor side effects after treatment include:

• Nausea
• Headache
• Minor redness or itching of the skin in the treated area.

These side effects rarely occur and when they do they are usually mild and don't last longer than 24 hours.

Increasing water intake and following your post-treatment instructions will help to limit or avoid any side effects.

Your body will work to naturally removed the liquified fat cells over the next 72 hours through the kidneys, liver, and lymphatic system.

Multiple treatments must be at least 3 days apart.

Full results are seen approximate 2 weeks following treatment.
